This summer at Commons Club in Virgin Edinburgh Hotel, the Chef’s Table celebrates Edinburgh.
Led by the talented Chef de Cuisine, Emma Hanley, the five-course Chef’s Table ‘Taste of Edinburgh’ menu is a personal and inventive tribute to the city we call home.

Each of the five courses tells a story, reimagining traditional dishes with the finest local ingredients from sweet crab and succulent langoustines to rich venison, smoky delicacies, and a playful nod to the deep-fried Mars bar. It’s bold, elegant and filled with heart.
2The Commons Club Bar is ideal for a post-shop glass of wine and a burrata, or a cheeseboard with friends over an early evening cocktail or two. You’ll love it for the big windows and classy decor as much as the spicy margarita. No booking needed. Just rock up and enjoy.
3Commons Club toasts the Class of 25 with a free glass of prosecco on arrival for graduation dinner bookings. The special set menu (available 1st to 15th July), showcases Scottish ingredients including beef, Loch Etive trout, and halibut, with two courses for £45 and three for £55.
Chef’s Table is £85 per person and runs every Wednesday to Saturday until the end of August. Advance booking essential.
